The Live Producer helps you produce and monitor your Live webcast.
The Live Producer opens in a new window and consists of multiple widgets which allow you to publish your content and give an overview of attendees and their questions.
Video widgetThe Video widget allows you to setup, preview and publish your live stream.
When you first open the publisher, Adobe Flash Player will ask for permission to access the camera and microphone. Click Allow to grant access. See our Publisher troubleshooting page for browser specific instructions.
To check the video stream is working correctly, a preview of the live stream can be shared from the Share widget.
When you click Start webcast button the event will go Live. To finish the webcast, press the stop button.
From the Video widget you can change your encoding source by clicking on the cog icon at the top-right, the available options are described in the Stream configuration article. If you are using an external encoder, such as Wirecast, you will be able to to download the required configurations and preview your stream.
Note that, before starting the webcast, you can enable or disable recording by clicking on Auto recording enabled.
This widget shows the event slides. To upload a new presentation, just click on the cog icon at the top-right of the widget. If you are using a PowerPoint presentation, we recommend that this first is exported as a PDF.
The slide marked as LIVE is shown to the participants on the Public Event page. You can change the current slide by using the side arrows, or by clicking on the next slide below.
While the event is Live and being recorded, the timing of the slides is synced with the video clip. The timing of the slides can be edited after the event by using the Editor page.
This widget allows you to share your event without going to the Invite attendees page. Attendees will see the event as soon as you go live. You can also share a private preview to test your video stream
This widget provides an overview of incoming and live questions.
To moderate the questions, use the Questions page.
This widget shows the current number of attendees, sorted by language.
More detailed information about your attendees can be found on the Statistics page.
Customizing your Live Dashboard
Widgets can be moved using drag and drop. They can also be hidden from view by clicking on the arrow at the top right of the widget.
