A Live event is produced and shared live with your audience. This guide provides a quick walk-though to help you set one up.
Creating a new event
To get started, click on Add new event on the Events page.
Event details
On the Add new event window you should enter your event details. The event title, start time and duration are required. Click OK to create the event.Event type
Depending on the content you want to stream, there are are three different event types:- Webcast - attendees stream live video and slides.This is suitable when a visible presenter is desired.
- Audiocast - attendees stream live audio and slides. This is suitable when a live video stream is not necessary.
- Slidecast - attendees view live slides. This is suitable when neither video not audio is necessary, such as for a phone conference.
Event Overview
After entering your event details, you'll see the Event Overview page where you have a summary of the event status and hints on the next steps to take in setting up your event.When you are setting up your first event, we recommend you use our Guided Tour to get an overview of SlideSync. This will show you how to set up a sample event that will use your built-in webcam to present a slide set.

You're now ready to start customizing your event.

On the Edit Layout page you can add slides and customize your Event page.

When your Event page is ready, you can Share your event with attendees.
